Rapper Enchanting, 26, Dies After Life Support Removal

The former 1017 Records artist was transferred to ICU last night after she allegedly suffered cardiac arrest.

It has been reported that the rapper Enchanting tragically passed away after being placed on life support at the age of 26.

The heartbreaking news of the loss of the Texas artist, known as Channing Nicole Larry was shared by her sister Kay Jay on media on Tuesday, June 11. In a post accompanied by a photo of them Kay Jay expressed her love, with a heavy heart. Artist CJ Kasino also confirmed Enchantings passing in a tribute on Instagram.

“They Pulled The Plug Bro This S**t So F**ked Up I Just Knew You was Finna Pull Threw 😩💔 @luvenchanting You gone Forever Be Stop6 Princess & Kasino First Lady,” he wrote.

On the night of June 10 several online sources reported that the Texas artist had been admitted to the ICU at a hospital. While details about her condition were not disclosed her loved ones indicated through their social media updates that she was being supported by life sustaining measures. Initial rumors circulated about Enchanting’s passing but her sister Kay Jay clarified that she was still fighting for her life.

“Enchanting Is NOT DEAD !!!” she wrote in a post on X. “Please Jus Keep Praying & Ignore The Mf Tryna Tell Someone Else’s Story !!!!”

The artist 26 years old kicked off her music career eight years ago with her debut mixtape called Love & Drugs. After establishing herself Enchanting was signed by Gucci Mane’s 1017 record label in 2020. She credits her connection to Gucci to producer J. White Did It. Describing her genre as “Trap N Blues ” as per information on the 1017 website.

“I had to get comfortable with my voice,” Enchanting said about discovering her style. “Staying in the studio and constantly recording, it helps me find the style I can be good at.”

“Other people can relate to the things I say,” she added. “I might help somebody through any situation, they can listen to me and find peace.”

Enchantings recent project, No Luv was unveiled through 1017 in 2022. Subsequently she contributed her track “He Can’t Reach” to the soundtrack of HBO’s “Rap Sh!t Season 2”, under Issa Rae’s Raedio label. She also featured on Big Scarrs album, The Secret Weapon, that came out a months following his passing due, to a drug overdose.
