Sean Kingston Booked into Broward Jail on Charges in $1 Million Fraud Case

Kingston was arrested in California in May on fraud charges and waived extradition to Florida. He was booked into the Broward jail on Sunday.

Sean Kingston is currently, in jail in Broward County, Florida for charges related to fraud.

According to records from the Broward County Sheriffs Office, the singer known for “Beautiful Girls” was arrested by authorities in Florida on a Sunday. The offenses against him include fraud trafficking stolen goods using information for purposes, grand theft and involvement in an organized fraudulent scheme.

Towards the end of the month Kingston and his mother were accused of taking part in an activity involving around $1 million worth of items. Before this incident there were reports of a search, at a property associated with Kingston. Later he addressed the news himself.

“People love negative energy!” KingstonĀ wroteĀ on Instagram in May. “I am good and so is my mother! My lawyers are handling everything as we speak.”

Initially Kingston was arrested in California. Prior, to the apprehension a lawyer representing a corporation in a dispute, against Kingston, who had recently worked with YoungBoy Never Broke Again on a track told WTVJ that the vocalist is “100 percent a scammer.
